Cranberry - Pear Balsamic

This White Balsamic is clean, crisp and very tart and boasts a lovely deep, rose blush. It has an amazingly fruity, complex bouquet that shines in a multitude of culinary applications. Use to dress fruit or vegetable salads, as a marinade, a glaze for poultry, with gelatin for a delicious fruit aspic or even in a mixed drink! Mix it with Wild Mushroom & Sage for a easy wild rice salad along with dried cranberries and almonds. Additional pairings are Mandarin, Blood Orange, Persian Lime, Eureka Lemon, Herbes de Provence, Basil and Tuscan Herb oils.

Mixed greens, 1 ripe pear, 2 tablespoons dried cranberries, 2 tablespoons walnuts, 2 tablespoons Loide' Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar, 2 tablespoons Loide' Lime Olive Oil,  2 slices Gorgonzola cheese broken into chunks.

Divide greens into two salad plates.  Quarter and core the pear into thin slices and place 1/2 the pear on each salad.  Sprinkle each with walnuts and cranberries.  Drizzle with the Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar and Lime Olive Oil.  Sprinkle the Gorgonzola cheese on top.
